DLC and custom content on Android

How to use custom image card sets on Android (e.g. from Cats DLC):

The easiest is just to unzip the files on your PC and move them to the proper folders of your Android phone.

• connect your phone to the PC with a cable. On the phone select that it's for USB file sharing
• open your phone from the list of hard drives/locations
• open Internal storage, then inside it Android, data, com.WMGames.FreeSolitaire, files, CustomCardSets
• paste the contents of CardSets folder of the DLC there

Similarly, copy the rest of the graphical assets into CustomBackgrounds, CustomCardBacks, CustomStackPlaceholderSets, CustomUIPictures.

If you have to do this on the phone only (e.g. you don't have a computer at all):

• unzip the downloaded DLC archive using whatever archiving app you have on your phone. Possibly Android itself can unzip them for you.

• install Total Commander app from Google Play (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ghisler.android.TotalCommander)
• launch Total Commander
• if Total Commander has some folder open, tap the blue house icon to get to the root of the file system
• tap Internal Storage
• tap on Download folder (this is where your downloads are commonly stored)
• long tap on the downloaded/unzipped png file (card atlas)
• scroll the list of context menu actions and tap Copy to clipboard

now you need to navigate to the folder where the game stores custom card sets

• tap on blue up arrow to get to internal storage root
• tap on Android folder
• tap on data folder
• tap on -> Installed apps folder with a cog image on it
• scroll the long list of installed apps and tap on com.WMGames.FreeSolitaire
• tap on files folder

This is now the game's root folder, you will see folders for card sets, card backs etc.

• tap on CustomCardSets folder
• long tap on the header of the file list: either the blue up arrow or the .. area
• in the list of context menu actions, tap on Paste here (Copy)

Now if you switch back to Free Solitaire and re-open the card sets list, you should see the new card set at the end of the list.

After you have done this once, you will be able to jump between the Download folder (where any newly downloaded file go) and the folder with custom card sets:

• tap on the icon of multiple stacked folders to the right from Total Commander title
• in the Directory History list, tap on folder paths where you've been before

If you download multiple card sets from Discord, you can copy them all at once to the custom card sets folder:

• go to Download folder
• tap on icons (not the name) of every file you want to copy (png card set atlases), green checkmarks will appear over the icons showing that they are selected. Long tap on any of the selected files, Copy to clipboard
• go to the custom card sets folder, long tap on the header or any of the files already there, Paste here (Copy)
